Frequently Asked Questions: Online Conferences

ITFMA has been the leading educator of professionals working in the area of IT Financial Management (ITFM) for the past 28 years by providing conferences in the U.S., but there are many professionals in other countries who are unable to attend these conferences. How Do I Know Which Sessions Qualify for the Various Certificates?
You will receive a Conference Agenda with the conference access information that identifies which sessions qualify for the various certificates. You also receive an Evaluation & Attendance Form for you to evaluate the speakers and to record the sessions you viewed – the same procedure used at our U.S. conferences.
How Do I Know How Many Hours of Credit I Earned Toward Each ITFMA Certificate?
After you send your Evaluation & Attendance Form to ITFMA by email, you will receive by email a transcript showing which of the 155 subject categories you attended and the number of hours earned toward each of your chosen certificates. No other organization offering certification provides you with such a detailed record like the 3-page ITFMA transcript used to document the number of hours you attended in the wide variety of subject areas. It is even more detailed than university transcripts.
The ITFMA transcript allows you to track the breadth of your education by IT financial discipline and depth of education by as many as 155 subject areas. This allows you and your management to track the areas you have the most education and the areas that you need more education, depending on whether you are looking for a depth or breadth of education.
